Joshua Karpeh, the Brooklyn-based singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known as Cautious Clay, has shared a new music video for his single “Cold War.” The visual, co-directed by Alex Gallitano and Cautious Clay, is a meditation on human interaction in the age of dating apps and social media. “Cold War” appears on Cautious Clay’s new Blood Type EP, which dropped in February. Karpeh recently told Billboard that “Cold War” is “about commitment and also the frustration of lack of commitment.” He also called Blood Type his “magnum opus.”
